 | "PRAISE FOR THE LORD" Published by: Praise Press **AVAILABLE** |

We are thankful for the opportunity to provide our hymnal, Praise for the Lord, for use at the 2008 Tahoe Family Encampment.
Praise for the Lord was first published in April 1992 and is the market leader within the brotherhood. Its balanced combination of classic hymns, gospel songs, and contemporary praise songs has given our hymnal broad acceptance despite increasing diversity in musical taste. The expanded edition, released in 1997, added 90 new hymns, such as Sylvia Rose Cobb's "Restore My Soul" and Mark Altrogge's "I Stand in Awe," to the original collection, for a total of 990 hymns.
At the conclusion of the Encampment, the hymnals which have been used during the week will be available for sale at the discounted price of $8.00 in any quantity. Congregations which may be interested in purchasing Praise for the Lord at the Encampment are invited to order sample copies now by calling our toll-free number 800.331.5991. Congregations may place advance orders for hymnals from the Encampment and specify which color they desire.
In addition to the above, we are pleased to offer the hymnal, "A Gift of Praise", Editor: Jack Boyd. Throughout Christian history, new songs and hymns, both texts and music, were written to expand the possibilities of Christian worship. Continuing this ancient tradition, both the words and music in "A Gift of Praise" have been chosen to provide new possibilities for our worship services and our devotional periods. "A Gift of Praise" has been designed to be a supplement to the hymnal "Praise the Lord".
We are looking forward to the 2008 Tahoe Family Encampment, and its opportunities for praise, edification and fellowship. For further information, contact John Wiegand, PO Box 40526, Nashville, TN, 37204 Toll-Free: 800.331.5991. |

TENT/SETUP CREWS: If in the past, you have not been part of our tent crew, who puts up the big-top tents, then you have missed a really marvelous part of camp. Our dedicated Tent Crew will come on Thursday and Friday before camp to erect the big tents. These folks are some of the hardest working, and most fun loving bunch of men and women your will ever meet. We have unimaginable fun working together, eating, teasing and laughing, than just about anybody else at camp! As in days of old, when the circus came to town, you will thrill at the raising of the big top tent and know that "you helped make it happen!" We feel confident that those who were part of our tent crew in the past will undoubtedly want to return and be part of this years vital endeavor, however, some of these devoted folks are "aging-out" of our work force, so we NEED new, young, strong teens and adults who are willing to lend a hand. For the easiest of jobs to the more challenging, there is a job for ALL. Maybe all you can do is "hold" a rope---then we've got a job for you! This year, we will have a "pneumatic driver" that will make "life easier", and we shouldn't have to drive those tent stakes by hand anymore. There are small, easy jobs that are equally vital in getting those tents erected. PLEASE, come give us a hand and enjoy a very special, elite group of people, who really know how to do the job and have a lot of fun along the way. If you would like to join the team, please note your interest on the volunteer form that can be printed off of the "registration tab" of this site or call Pat @ 916.989.4885.
